T O P I C R E V I E WmarestarHi everyone!I've been reading posts here for several years, but this is my first topic. So, hello!I have a question pertaining to the composite chart for my fiance and I. We have composite North Node in the 8th house, in Taurus. Of course, this puts the South Node in the 2nd house in Scorpio.I'm wondering what this placement means for the future of our relationship. Will we have money problems? Will we be constantly regenerating as a couple? What might be the effect of the natural sign rulerships being flipped here? We're making plans for our future, so I'm desperate to know what pitfalls and tendencies we need to be aware of. We really want to buy property in a beautiful location where we can have a peaceful, artistic lifestyle. That seems indicated by Taurus, but not necessarily by the 8th house. Any thoughts?Thank you!![Edited for syntax.]------------------Sun/Cap/6th conj. Merc/NepMoon/Aries/10th conj. NNCancer ASCmarestarBump?AriesLilithNN in a natal chart can show an individual's life lessons, so I suppose NN in composite charts can show life lessons learned together. With it in the 8th house, it can probably indicate that learning how to have real intimacy and joined resources are part of the couple's lessons in order for the relationship to grow. But I'd look at each person's NN in their natal charts to understand their own life lessons as well, in order to understand what NN in the composite 8th house can stand for. Also, it's important to check how the other aspects and positions are in the composite chart.marestarThank you for your reply, AriesLilith! His NN is in Taurus in 6th, while mine is in Aries in 10th (conjunct my Moon by less than a degree). Our composite is mainly defined by the 7th, 5th, 3rd, and 2nd houses. Our composite Sun, Venus, and Mercury are tightly conjunct in the 5th house, where Jupiter also resides (same sign and house, but not technically conjunct). Pluto is squaring the stellium from Scorpio in the 2nd - also conjunct the SN. The Moon and Mars are conjunct in Aries in the 7th (my natal Moon is in Aries, and his natal Mars is as well.) Saturn is in Sagittarius in the 3rd, trining Moon/Mars and sextiling the 5th house stellium. The 5th house stellium is also sextiling Moon/Mars.All this forms an obtuse triangle (is there a name for that shape in astrology?) from 3rd, to 5th, to 7th. The whole structure is then squared by Pluto in 2nd, as I already mentioned.Thank you again for your reply!------------------Sun/Cap/6th conj. Merc/NepMoon/Aries/10th conj. NNCancer ASCmmoni_carloMe and my boyfriend's composite north node is in the 8th house as well.. I wish somebody would elaborate more on this. We both want to live the good life, that's for sure. Also, I have never been able to have a sexual and intimate relationship with someone until I had him. I usually had one or the other growing up. So 8th house matters were definitely a learning experience for us.RandallWelcome to you both! Moving this to Interpersonal Astrology. toddyou need to include the aspects to the node as house placement is not enough to understand the affect of this placement.todd

But I'd look at each person's NN in their natal charts to understand their own life lessons as well, in order to understand what NN in the composite 8th house can stand for.
Also, it's important to check how the other aspects and positions are in the composite chart.
